Enhancement in n number of students in last three years in EMRS, LLGRS and Model Schools is as below:

The Tribal Development Department along with Education Department had embarked upon implementing Biometric based Attendance System in the Schools and Institutes located in 32 takulas of 8 tribal districts of Sabarkantha, Banaskantha, Dahod, Panchmahal, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, & Vadodara. The project has been implemented in 7129 schools/institutes of both Education & Tribal Development Departments covering all the 8 districts. The objective of this project is to record attendance of the students & teachers.

The Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat conceived a programme in 2009 to enhance the English language proficiency of students of schools in tribal areas. The programme has evolved since then to include a satellite based English Language supportive learning package (WELCOME English) for students of standards VIII and IX, training for English teachers and promotion of a conducive language learning environment in the schools through English Language Melas and other ongoing activities. More than 10,000 students from 200 schools across 19 districts are covered under the programme every year.

Eureka-Active Science Learning Kits at EMRS Muni Seva Ashram, Goraj, Waghodia, Vadodara

Individual practical material kits are given to all the students from classes 6th to 9th to perform experiments as per their science syllabus. Every student has to perform nearly 15 to 20 experiments in a year.

This project aims to :

• Improve observational skills
• Developanalytical thinking
• Buildconfidence and motivation
• Handon experience for key concepts as per syllabus etc

Robo Lab @ EMRS - Muni Seva Ashram, Goraj, Waghodia, Vadodara

EMRS Muni Seva Ashram, Goraj has setup a ROBO Lab in collaboration with ThinkLABS Technosolutions, IIT Mumbai. Students learn concepts of Science, Mathematics, Science and Computer Science and Programming Language (CiMPLE) on this robotics platform.. Teachers attend 5 days (40 Hours) training program to implement this ROBO Lab project.

• Hands on experience for key concepts as per syllabus
• Programming skills
• Team work and managerial / leadership skills

• EMRS Goraj,Vadodara has collectively received a cash prize of Rs. 3,40,000.
• EMRS Goraj,Vadodara has secured a position in Archery competition at District and State level
• Boys and Girls of EMRS Goraj,Vadodara secured 1st position inKho-kho under 13 & under 16 age group competition.
• EMRS Goraj,Vadodara has secured position in 400 meter atheletics at National level.
• LLGRS Saputara,Dangs secured 1st position in Hockey under 13 & under 16 age group competition.
• LLGRS Chinchli,Dangs secured 1st position at district level in Swimming under 16 age group competition.
• LLGRS Chinchli,Dangs secured 2nd position at district level in Wrestling under 13 age group competition.
• LLGRS Saputara,Dangs secured 2nd position at district level in Football under 13 age group competition
